The grave of Henry R. Selden (1805 - 1885) [Photograph]

Henry R. Selden is buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Rochester, New York.  One side of the gravestone reads: "Henry Rogers Selden Born at Lyme Connecticut Oct 14 1805 Died at Rochester New York Sept 18 1885"

The other side of the gravestone reads: "Sometime Lieutenant Governor of this Commonwealth And Afterwards Judge of its Highest Court He Counted Nothing Human to Be Alien to Himself And Spent His Life His Substance And Himself In the Service of His Fellows"
