The text reads:
“The last will and testament of Anne Fitzhugh Miller of the City of Geneva, Ontario County, New York.”

“I Anne Fitzhugh Miller, make this my last will as follows:” On July 20, 1911, Anne Fitzhugh Miller wrote her last will and testament. She had inherited half of her mother’s vast estate and thus had much to distribute to her relatives. According to the inventory of her estate, Anne Miller owned or co-owned several pieces of real estate. She also owned furniture, many personal items, farm animals, and many financial investments (stock certificates and bonds). Her total estate was valued at over $300,000.00.
