The back of the photograph reads:
“A Photograph of the Practitioner’s (later Blackwell) Society, given to the E.M. Library. Front row, left Dr. Marion Potter next to Dr. Kathleen L. Buck, far right front row is unidentified.Middle row (left to right) Dr. Charlotte MacArthur, Dr. Evelyn Ballintine, Dr. Louise Hurrell, Dr. Sarah Dolley, Dr. Mary Allen & two unidentified. Top row Dr. Evelyn Baldwin third from left is only known person.”
However, another note on the photograph, found in pencil on the side, says: “woman identified as Sarah Dolley may be Lettie Woodruff”. In pencil on top, says: “Front row, far right May Emma Dickinson. Back row fourth from left Sarah H. Perry.”
