The text reads:
“Sixth. All of the rest, residue and remainder of the estate of which I shall die siezed both real and personal or mixed of whatsoever name or nature or wheresoever situated I give, devise and bequeath unto my son, Gerrit S. Miller, and my daughter, Anne F. Miller, to be equally divided between them share and share alike to them, their heirs and assigns forever.”

One Nov. 8, 1902, Elizabeth Smith Miller wrote her last will and testament. She had a vast estate valued at over $700,000.00, including real estate and stock certificates. She divided her estate among many people, but the bulk of her estate went to her son, Gerrit S. Miller, and her daughter, Anne Fitzhugh Miller.
